JavaScript is a very very practical language. You don't have to know much about it to use it. It's a scripting language, meaning that you can also run things dynamically.

{% for task in tutorial_data("hellocode").tasks %} {% if loop.first %}
{% endif %}

o {{task_name(task)}}

{% if task == "engage" %} Just open the Code, and click Engage! at the bottom right corner. Without any modifications to the default code. You won't even feel it's working, it will just use potions if you are down.
Engage!
Hint: If your keyboard is English, the |\ key is a shortcut to quickly engage/disengage code. {% elif task == "x" %} Javascript is very flexible, so you can run snippets any time. If your code is already running, they are executed in the same environment. So you can dynamically affect things within your running Code too!
For this exercise tho, we are doing something simple, just a basic code to make your character move up.
move( character.x , character.y - 10 );
Press X at the top right corner of the screen, copy paste the move command from above, and just press EXECUTE!
X
and
EXECUTE
Hint: If your keyboard is English, the ,< key is a shortcut to quickly open the Snippet interface. {% endif %}
{% if not loop.last %}
{% endif %} {% endfor %}
